The State Museum of the History – Uzbekistan Tashkent

The State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan offers a comprehensive cultural journey that brings together a nation’s thousands of years of history with contemporary experience design.

Following an extensive renovation, the museum has been reimagined with a completely new vision. The museum’s digital experiences were designed and developed by Project Istanbul.

From the moment visitors step inside, they become part of a layered journey through time. Every section, spanning from prehistoric times and the first states to the Kushan Empire and Buddhism, from the Turkic states to the Islamic civilization and the Renaissance period, from the Mongols and the Timurid Empire to the khanates, and from national ethnography to modern Uzbekistan, tells a unique story through its own atmosphere, visual language, and digital design.

Throughout the museum, immersive experience zones, projection mapping shows, interactive exhibits, and digital discovery points transform visitors into active participants in history.
